About Us

 

Since 2002 adventurous motorcyclists from all walks of life leave behind their "everyday lives" to take part in the Postie Bike Challenge, to ride 3500-4500 kilometres through some of Australia's most spectacular country. Originally started as a one-off event to prove that small motorcycles could travel long distances over both bitumen and dirt roads, the Postie Bike Challenge has gained a life of its own through the enthusiasm of motorcycle riders from all over the world.

 

We believe that the greatest experiences can be had through independent travel, where you have choice and some control over what happens during the day. Rather than being herded around in a tour-like fashion, we encourage riders to travel at their own pace, using route maps and route markers. You will be supported by a skilled team of 6 staff, 4 vehicles plus a luggage truck, each with satellite communications, water and fuel. We have staff trained in first aid and take mechanics along for your piece of mind.

 

We believe that truly memorable experiences come from meeting personal challenges, being taken out of our comfort zones and taking calculated risks. In the hands of our Postie Bike Challenge team you will gain the confidence to tackle the daily challenges knowing that mechanical and backup support is always close by.
