As per our Event inclusions and exclusions you were responsible for arranging accommodation for Sat 29 Aug, your own dinner that evening and then breakfast the following morning prior to departure Sun 30 Aug (See newsletter 1 in our Resources page). Be aware that our new start point at Samford Showgrounds is now 15-20km further away from previously mentioned hotel/motel accommodation options. But we have a solution!!! We are now offering the option to camp and eat at Samford Showgrounds. This has taken a bit of negotiating with the Showgrounds committee over the last couple of weeks. We are lucky because the Showground Committee does not allow tent camping but made an exception for our event. Overnight camping will be in your own tent, using your own camp gear, with toilets and showers, a dinner Sat 29 Aug and a breakfast Sun 30 Aug prior to departure from Samford showgrounds early on Sun 30 Aug. Camping and eating at Samford Showgrounds will be more convenient and will also be cheaper than sourcing your own hotel for Sat night as well as a dinner and breakfast the next morning.
